Digitimes: A report in today’s Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) states that Sony has placed orders for 40-inch LCD TVs with local manufacturer, TPV Technology.
This is the first time Sony has outsourced its 40-inch LCD-TV orders, the paper noted. The new orders, which take effect in the third quarter, are mainly for China market, said the paper.
