With the several delays and the media's hype over Sony falling behind, it became quite obvious that Sony's confidence was something that could outweigh the fears of the consumer base. After all - who's really afraid here? The PS2 consumers. Nintendo and Xbox consumers are happy with the delay - it further supports their investment choice. I remind myself where Sony is based - a different culture and different part of the world were patience is practiced on a much higher level. Sure, Xbox360 is fine - but I feel that America is all about 'fast food' and impatience.
