Audio system offers adjustable LED lighting

Engadget: If you’re one of those folks who genuinely feel that Philips’ Ambilight technology adds a whole new level to your television viewing experience, we’ll tell ya, these are going to be awfully hard to resist.

Ceratec’s CeraLight Xeno audio system consists of four Ceraplanar flat diaphragm transducers and one subwoofer, and besides the 100-watts or so of power you’ll have at your fingertips, these column speakers should delight the lighting freaks in the crowd with their remote-controllable brightness and color.

Apparently, the LED-infused speakers can emit a variety of colorful glows depending on your mood, ensuring that there’s never a lack of rainbow going on in your living room. Unfortunately, there’s no word on price or availability just yet. (…)

Survey: many want, few will buy iPhone

Electronista: Despite a clear level of interest, few are actually willing to buy the iPhone when it launches, say the results of a newly published Markitecture survey.

A study of 1,300 people who both own and pay for their cellphones has shown that 77 percent of survey takers were at least partly aware of the iPhone — a feat before the actual launch, the researchers say — only 6 percent of those who responded said they were likely to commit to buying the device within the next year.
Two thirds of respondents were even certain that they wouldn’t buy the phone with what they knew.

Sony PSP Go!Cam hits Europe

I4U: Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (…) announced the Go!Cam for the Sony PSP.

On a 4GB Sony Memory stick you can record 2,5 hours of video or store 40,000 photos with the Go!Cam. Sony bundles the Go!Edit editing software with the Go!Cam. The software enables you to edit video directly on the PSP.

The Sony PSP camera will be released on 16th of May 2007 across Europe and the PAL territories. The retail price will be a retail price of €49.99 (£34.99, $68).

LG aims to be a leader in high tech phones

Akihabara: LG Electronics (LG), a leader in consumer electronics and mobile communications, launched its latest HSDPA smartphone, LG-KS10, in Italy.
