HD News: LG have reduced the 42LG6000′s width (81mm) by almost a half to produce the waif like LG6100 at just 45mm.
The LG6100 retains most of the technical features of its sibling, the LG6000 within a more svelte like profile. With a perfectly round hole through its bezel, the unique design feature is certainly present. This circular gap becomes illuminated in ‘grey’ when the TV is on, reverting to ‘scarlet’ when the screen is in stand-by mode.
No less than four HDMI (v1.3) inputs are joined by a USB 2.0 input which allows you to display your still MPEG’s or play MP3 files through a slick on-screen menu interface.
Elsewhere, TruMotion 100Hz increase the number of frames from 50 frames per second to 100.
