50 Cent launches SYNC by 50 headphones – and disses Beats by Dre

What HiFi: 50 Cent took a swing at the Beats by Dr. Dre range of headphones as he launched his new SYNC by 50 wireless headphones. No stranger to ‘beef’, the hip-hop stars are now set to do battle in the lucrative headphone market. Launching the SYNC by 50 headphones under the SMS Audiobrand, 50 Cent said Beats by Dre headphones “break too easily & sound bass heavy”.

Pioneer adds two new Elite receivers to its 2012 lineup

Engadget: Pioneer’s 2012 AV receiver lineup is growing by two with the new VSX-42, priced at $450, and the $650 VSX-60. Both feature six HDMI inputs on the back, Ethernet, video scaling, optional Bluetooth ($99) with A2DP, AirPlay, DLNA, Pandora and iOS or Android apps. (more…)
