Übergizmo: Sony just outed three new wireless speakers with the SA-NS310, SA-NS410 and SA-NS510. They are all built to receive an audio stream over WiFi, including over Apple’s Airplay with you want to stream from an iOS device (there’s an app too) or from iTunes. Android users are not left in the cold and a streaming app is available for them as well (that would be unfortunate since Sony makes its own Android XPERIA phones). (more…)

iPodNN: iHome has released its first docking speaker tower with color-changing LEDs, the iP76. There are 16 LED clusters that can light up in seven colors and fade, strobe, or pulse in tune with the music, or simply light up in a selected color. At the top is an iPod/iPhone dock that will charge the devices as well as play audio content from them. (more…)

Übergizmo: Urbanears has come up with their most ambitious pair of headphones to date – the Zinken, which is said to be a totally new approach to the concept of a headphone by touting it as a musical instrument. It was specially developed with the professional DJ in mind, although it will not break the bank in any way whatsoever, delivering a bunch of useful features including the TurnCable and the ZoundPlug. Übergizmo: We seem to be pretty much pre-occupied by superlatives, and when it comes to the world of consumer electronics, this bit deep down inside of us remains the same. After all, who does not want to own the thinnest display in the world (apparently the latest claimant to that particular record has decided on using soap water as one of the “components”, if you can call it that), or how about the thinnest smartphone in the market at the moment?
